Article Writing for Beginners

Have you ever wanted to be a writer? From the time that I was very young I had always aspired to become a writer but it wasn't until the advent of the Internet that I was actually able to see that dream to fruition. Now I am able to write to my hearts content and I don't have to have a publisher or worry about stocking the shelves of the local book stores in order to have my work read, I simply create all that I like and have the masses come to me. But what does it take to write for the Internet, and how am I able to come up with the ideas and keep everything fresh?

The first thing that you should know about writing is that you really don't need to be an expert on any one subject in order to teach about it, you simply need to know more than the person that you are teaching in order to pass along a benefit to the reader. Have you ever gone on a vacation to a state or national park? I'm sure that you could write about your experiences there or even some of the things that you found that were good or bad about your trip and people would appreciate it. Take for example the time I went to Yosemite, I took the high road into the park and it was great! The drive was calm and quiet and the scenery was out of this world but once I got into the more popular part of the park it was hot and crowded. As it turned out I enjoyed the less traveled path the most so that is what I wrote about. I'm sure that you can do the same on many subjects and people will appreciate you passing along your knowledge.

Once you have your work written where will you publish it? You can do this on a website like I have done here but there are easier ways to accomplish this. You could start a blog, there are many places that give you free blog space and the setup is very easy. You can then post to your hearts content. You could also submit articles to article directories such as ezinearticles.com or articlefinders.com. This will allow you to have your work read by many people, and you can post a link in the bio section that points back to your website or blog. The main thing that you want to do is to write and to get it in front of the people, the rest will follow.
